Was our introduction to this wonderful
breed. He was such a great character, he
quickly 'hooked' us. Despite becoming a
Champion, he was not a great Briard
conformation wise, and was neutered after
finishing his title. Unfortunately he died at
a relatively early age from an enlarged heart.

Another
great character, a dog who always made you
laugh and was a fanatical tennis ball
retriever and squeaky toy thief. Chevvy was
Challenge Dog Sydney Royal 1994 and Best in
Show at the Briard Club of NSW Champ Show
1993. He sired one litter, but they were never
bred on from. In the days prior to DNA testing
for CSNB we knew his grandfather had produced
a Night Blind litter overseas and without a
definitive test for carriers could not take
the chance of breeding with him again or his
offspring.
