'Henri' - bred by Jacky Dillies in France and co-owned with Irena Schneider Trilby Briards NSW

Henri was the first (and still only) French born Briard to be imported to Australia. He was imported as an adult in November 1996, he had had a hugely successful stud career in Scandinavia and we at Cacharel & Trilby were very lucky to be able to import him. Henri lived with Irena Schneider at Trilby Briards in Sydney and was co owned by Cacharel & Trilby Briards.

Henri was a complete outcross to the existing Australian lines and also introduced the greying gene to Australian Briards. We knew from his offspring in Scandinavia that his lines combined extremely well with the Picador lines that we already had and indeed his best Australian offspring were from these lines. His offspring excel in wonderful smooth movement, laid back temperaments and great working ability. 

Henri's early demise limited his stud career within Australia, however semen is stored from him and will be used over a suitable bitch in the future. Henri has offspring all over the world and is the sire of Champions of 10 countries including a World Champion.
