The ONLY BRIARD GRAND CHAMPION
with a Herding Title
JJ is now firmly entrenched as the
top winning black Briard in Australian Briard history.
He was the FIRST black to win a Best in Show
award in Australia (His kennel mate Ch Cacharel
Steppin Out PT now has 3 BIS to his name).
JJ has also proven that he has brains as well as
beauty being only one of the first Briards in
Australia to gain his HT title. JJ never really
behaved too well in the show ring, standing still was
fine, but moving was a different story, he really only
knew one speed and that was flat out, trying to tow
his handler behind him . . obviously this did
not go down too well with many judges, who knows how
many more awards he would have won had he not tried to
race all the time. He was a dog who needed at least 4
laps around a show ring to settle down, once he did
settle his movement was breath taking with the most
fabulous side gait, exhibiting wonderful reach and
drive. At home, in the yard he is never still, always
on the hunt for his favourite piece of soccer ball to
play with. Inside, he is a different dog, content to
curl up with you on the lounge or the bed. He has one
fear - frogs . . . one night while he was fast
asleep, a frog dropped from our high ceilings right on
top of him, he has never moved so fast in his life .
.
