Oslo was imported as a puppy in May 1993 and was the first Briard imported into Australia from a country other than the UK or New Zealand. Impeccably bred, he introduced badly needed brand new bloodlines into this country. His sire Int Ch NuCh Bradirs Chuck Norris was TOP DOG ALL BREEDS in Norway and his dam NuCh Nouveaute Aperitiff was top Briard in Norway for many years.

Oslo was the first Briard in this country to be awarded CACIB and is the ONLY Briard ever to win BOB at the 4 major East Coast Royals in the one year. He has to his credit 1 Best in Show and 3 Reserve in Show awards, plus 18 Best in Group (Group 1) awards and many,many group placings. He is the sire of 8 Champions from 2 litters and grandsire of American, New Zealand, Australian and Norwegian Champions.

Only used sparingly at stud, he bought much needed improvement to bone, head strength, temperament, and hindquarter - he passed his wonderful movement on to most of his get and most importantly, his lines combined extremely well with our later imports.

Oslo's greatest gift to us was his daughters. They have gone on to produce some outstanding puppies, including Multi Best in Show winners, Specialty winners, Group winners, and Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide, Darwin, Toowoomba & Sydney Royal BOB winners
