A well bred Briard is a delight to see partaking in all sorts of sports. They excel at sports such as Herding, Lure Coursing, Weight Pull, Tracking, Obedience and Agility. 'Moose' was the first dog of any breed in Australia to earn titles on Herding C course. He was also the first dog of any breed in Qld to earn his Dual Championship (Herding). He had an illustrious career in herding and won many High in Trial awards both in Qld and Victoria.
He was owned, bred, handled and trained by Anne & Carl Mitchell.
Supreme CH CIB Cacharel Two To Tango SPRD
Tango has taken to SprintDog like the Champion he is. He is the very first Briard in Australia to earn his SPRD title.
Dual Ch (T) Trilby Fitz The Bill CD RAE PT ET
'Billy' earned his Dual Championship from tracking. He was also titled in Rally, Endurance and Herding. A truly versatile Briard.

Lulu was a very special Briard. She went to the USA with her owner to learn ' boundary work' ie C Course. She competed over there and earned her Herding Started C Course. She also competed in A Course and won High in Trial (Sheep) at the USA Briard Nationals ably handled by Mary Weir. Lulu was a village dog with many people involved in her travels and training. It was a true testament to her temperament and breeding. On her return to Australia she continued to compete and finished one point short of her Advanced Title. Endurance Test
'Jilly'. An Endurance Test involves a 20klm run for the dog at a steady 10klm / per hour. The handler rides a bike or jogs alongside the dog. The test is broken into 3 sections of 8 klms and 2 x 6klms with a short rest in between each. The dogs are vet checked every break for heart rate, body temperature and condition of pads. If at any stage the conditions are not met the dog is vetted out. At the completion of the 20klms there is a short obedience test to check the dogs' compliance and willingness to work
